The Inland Empire VHF Radio Amateurs have promoted amateur radio around Spokane for more than 50 years. The club holds monthly meetings with presentations, a weekly net that lets members and other hams meet on the air, an annual picnic, Field Day and a tailgate swap meet.
Inland NW Mesh has had a table at the club’s swap meet. Ham clubs are a good place to get licensed before joining an emergency group.
